Reimagining cognitive care.
Improving lives.
CogniCure is a nonprofit accelerating breakthrough treatments for neurological disorders, with a dedicated focus on Alzheimer's disease and the Veterans who carry its burden at disproportionate rates.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit · Advancing the science of the Veteran brain

Why CogniCure exists
The Veteran brain is a distinct research population, and it deserves science built for that difference.
PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and service-related exposures make neurodegeneration in Veterans biologically and clinically different. Alzheimer's disease is our anchor; from that foundation, our work extends across Parkinson's disease, TBI-related dementia, and the other neurodegenerative conditions shaped by military service.
We close the gap between scientific innovation and patient care by uniting advanced drug discovery, translational research, and precision treatment strategies. Our purpose is simple: to honor those who served through innovation that relieves suffering and restores dignity.
Knowledge grows into connection and into human impact.
Research
Multidisciplinary teams advancing biomarker identification, AI-enabled drug screening, and early-stage clinical trials. Science built for the Veteran brain.
Awareness
Education across the Veteran community on neurological risk, early detection, and the support available. Knowledge carried into people's lives.
Impact
Care coordination, treatment access, and direct support for Veterans living with neurological disease. Understanding turned into action.

Our work
Four programs. One standard of care.
Research & Drug Discovery
Neurological Research & Drug Discovery
Biomarker identification, target validation, AI-enabled drug screening, and early-stage clinical trials, conducted with VA medical centers and digital trial platforms that reach rural and underserved Veterans.
Care Services
Veteran-Centric Neurological Care
Early detection, risk assessment, rehabilitation support, and caregiver resources, integrated with VA healthcare settings and extended nationwide through telehealth.
Digital Health
CogniCure Health Platform
One place for Veterans, caregivers, and clinicians to measure, track, and act on cognitive health. Structured assessments on a unified timeline, with HIPAA-aligned safeguards.
Community
Fundraising & Veteran Support
Channeling community generosity into research and direct assistance through transparent grantmaking, nationwide fundraising, and awareness across VA and VSO networks.
Impact
Honoring service through measurable progress.

“We envision a future in which no Veteran faces cognitive decline without early detection, meaningful treatment options, and a care team equipped to act.”
Human stories
The people behind the science.
The hardest part was not knowing whether Dad was having a bad month or losing something he wouldn't get back. Having a baseline changed every conversation with his care team.
Veterans walk into my clinic with a history no civilian population shares. Research that treats the Veteran brain as its own discipline is long overdue.
I served with people who came home carrying injuries nobody could see. Supporting this mission is how I keep showing up for them.
Get involved
Stand with those who stood for us.
Every contribution moves a therapy closer to the clinic and puts support within reach of a Veteran living with neurological disease.
Give
Fund the science and direct Veteran assistance. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Partner
Research institutions, clinicians, VSOs, and industry: help us build science for the Veteran brain.
Participate
Veterans and families: join studies, share your story, and shape the research priorities we set.
We'll only use your email to share how you can help. No patient data, ever.
